TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY Seminar

REGISTRATION CLOSED

Training for Litigators

March 6-7, 2008 - The Rio Suites and Casino - Las Vegas, NV

Join us for this special two-day course specifically designed for attorneys handling traumatic brain injury litigation.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Cullan Foundation for Medical-Legal Education and the Law Offices of Samuel K. Cullan, M.D., J.D., are pleased to offer continuing education for attorneys who represent those who have sustained traumatic brain injuries.

This comprehensive two-day course is designed to give attorneys basic and in-depth knowledge about traumatic brain injuries and how to handle these complex cases.  Many healthcare professionals and attorneys miss traumatic brain injury cases because they do not screen for them.  Learn the common signs and symptoms of traumatic brain injury cases and how to screen for these injuries on behalf of your clients.

During this seminar you’ll learn or review neuroanatomy, the biomechanics of brain injury, the role and limitations of neurophysiology, and diagnostic imaging.

The course will cover presentation of the traumatic brain injury case to the jury, including selection of experts, how to attack or rebut the defense, discovery and trial techniques specific to brain injury cases.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This program is a valuable resource for trial lawyers currently involved in litigating  brain injury cases.  It provides essential information for those with limited experience in this area who are undertaking the responsibility of representing these vulnerable clients.  This course is also excellent for experienced attorneys who have handled these cases but would like a comprehensive review and update on the subject.

If you have been admitted to the bar for five years or less you can save $50.00 on the registration fee. A limited number of seats will be reserved for law students who will be admitted without a registration fee.

A discount of $50.00 is available when you attend with an attorney or paralegal from the same firm with the same address.

YOUR REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES

  • CLE  12 – 15 hrs (see below)
  • Reference materials
  • Complimentary coffee breaks
  • A networking reception with faculty and attendees
